Condition
In overall good condition, two arms slightly bend upwards, some screws lacking, slight rubbing to the gilding and corrosion to the bronze, one gilt-bronze ornament to supporting arm slightly loose due to laking screw.

Catalogue Note
Several of the same elements of the present chandelier appear in designs by André-Charles Boulle and engraved by Mariette in Nouveaux deisseins de meubles et ouvrages de bronze et de marqueterie inventés et gravés par André-Charles Boulle, published circa 1707.
