  • 148.5-cm. high.
26-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Philipp Happacher in Wien and subsidiaries for day, date and seconds, blued hands with gilt tips, weight driven movement of six- months duration with glazed dust cover, deadbeat escapement with direct engagement to the knife-edge suspended pendulum, replaced 9-light mahogany case with moulded architectural pediment, inlaid banding throughout, terminating in a concave sided base 

Condition

dial with small repair at the winding hole, hands in good condition, movement in working order and reasonable condition, wheelwork for the date and day seems to be of later date, case well made for this movement in the right style, with some cracks to the veneer at the backboard, top of the case with an inset block to cover a small space that might have been used to keep jewellery (hidden for potential thieves), together with a pendulum and weight
