  • 112.5cm. high.
16-cm engraved pewter and brass inlaid boulle dial with enamel cartouches and an engraved brass female mask below, pierced and engraved brass hand, wheel barometer, shaped case surmounted by a well cast and chiseled gilt bronze figure of a girl with trailing garlands, veneered with blue stained horn throughout within brass lined panels, central section with a cherub and bacchant mask above the alcohol thermometer, the whole ending with a berry finial

Condition

dial of good quality with the boulle work with extra engraving, two cartouches with a hairline crack, signature of one cartouche rubbed, barometer able to function with the wheel barometer system, case in untouched dirty condition, bleu horn with some cracks and minor losses, bronzework of very good quality now dirty but the gilding appears to be intact, no accessories.
