  • 92cm. high.
32-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals, foliate pierced engraved gilt hands and alarm disc, finely engraved gilt brass panel below with strike/silent lever depicting an urn within garlands and leaves, three train anchor movement numbered 3294, lacking silk suspended pendulum, trip repeating rack quarter striking on two bells, pull wind alarm on a bell, fusee musical organ mechanism mounted below playing one of twelve melodies on 17 wooden pipes, waisted vernis martin case depicting polychrome flowers on a brown ground, concave sided top surmounted by a gilt brass finial, further foliate mounts throughout, hinged door with scrolled flowers and musical instruments, shaped base with scroll feet

Condition

dial with two small repairs at winding holes, hands of fine quality, movement in working order but in need of a overhaul, pendulum lacking, connection to musical mechanism lacking, musical mechanism functioning but needs to be adjusted and cleaned, it is playing but not very well, case dirty, mounts with rose gilding dirty, top finial probably replaced but from the missing bracket, vernis martin looks alright but with a few scratches and chips from usual wear and age, together with two winders, doorkey, part of connection for the musical mechanism
