11.5-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals and gilt five minute marks, pierced and engraved gilt hands, flat bottomed countwheel bell striking anchor movement with silk suspended pendulum, ormolu urn-shaped case surmounted by flowers and with scrolled leaf handles to the sides, fluted stem on an oval white marble plinth with trailing garlands, flanked by two putti with cups and grapes, break arch base with pierced mount raised on toupee feet

dial with a repair at 60 and near 25, one hairline crack between VIII and IX, hands good, movement able to function and in reasonable condition, anchor restored in the 19th century and pendulum up/down put on the backplate leaving a closed hole in the dial, case in original dirty condition with some rubbing to the gilding at the extremities and a little at the body of the urn, back ring lacking one screw, together with a pendulum, no winder

The design of this clock strongly resembles the work of Robert and Jean-Baptiste Osmond with a central body, i.e. a column or urn, being flanked by two putti.
