Catalogue Note

The Château d'Eu, département Seine-Maritime, was built in the sixteenth century. Its chapel contains the tombs of Henry I, Duke of Guise and his wife, Catherine de Clèves. Between 1830 and 1848,  Louis-Philippe, last king of France, used the château at Eu as his summer residence. It was later converted into a museum in his memory.
