Condition

This watch has been recently serviced by Rolex but the case back has been opened for cataloguing. The dial is in beautiful condition. Case in very good condition, acrylic to the bezel has lifted from the black at the edge slightly. The bracelet has been refinished and is in attractive overall condition. Serial number 6392113 is clear between the lugs. Ref. number 6263 between the lugs is clear. Inside case back 6263.

Reference 6263 was introduced to the market in 1971 as an Oyster replacement for the earlier non-Oyster Ref. 6264. It was usually supplied with an acrylic bezel (the same as Reference 6240) which contrasts with Reference 6265 and its steel calibrated bezel.
