- A pink gold minute repeating pocket watch converted to a wristwatch1896 no 97725

• 12''' damascened manual winding nickel lever movement with wolf's tooth winding, bi-metallic compensation balance, two polished steel hammers minute repeating on coiled gongs • gold cuvette signed and numbered • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, sunken subsidiary seconds, modified circular hinged case, down-turned lugs • case, dial, cuvette and movement signed, with an 18k Patek Philippe buckle
Condition
Movement running and repeating, but may benefit from servicing. The repeating sound is almost inexistent when striking the hours, but is rich in tone when chiming the quarters and minutes. The repeating movement would need to be adjusted and serviced. Dial generally good, small scratch but there do not appear to be any hair cracks. The Extract mentions the watch originally had a monogram "EWB" to the back which has been filled. Bezel and crown replaced.
