Description
Centring on a collet-set cushion-shaped ruby accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, within a textured swirl embellished at intervals with crescents of brilliant-cut stones, signed GRIMA.
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, signed GRIMA. Accompanied by a report from the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Edelsteinbewertung No. 9309 stating "that the ruby weighing 4.90 carats shows indications it is from Ceylon". Orangy red in bodycolour, with strong saturation of colour and typical inclusions visible to the naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively. In very good condition. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RUBY HAD BEEN GRADED WITHIN THE SETTING AND HAS NOT BEEN UNSET.
