  • 164cm. high, 102cm. wide, 47cm. deep.
the hinged top with marquetried reverse, opening to reveal a plain interior, the front with ten drawers and a central door, enclosing a mirrored interior with three hidden drawers, above one long drawer, on later stand

Condition

In reasonbly good condition. With the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches due to use and age. Overall with minor restorations to the tortoiseshell. The top with two horizontal shrinkage cracks due to dryness and minor hairline cracks to the veneer. Each square tortoiseshell square sidepanel with horizontal crack and minor hairline cracks. Ivory escucheon plate of central door lacking. Small tortoiseshell strip under second left drawer and under left door corner lacking. The drawers with minor veneer hairline cracks and minor veneer resorations. The mirrored interior with two small losses to the ivory squares, one with small crack. One base of interior pilaster with small wood chip, with later locks, the stand with two wood cracks in scroll ornament which joins legs in upper section.
