  • 76cm. high.
countwheel bell striking movement with club tooth lever escapement, signed Etienne Maxant 4 Rue S. Antoine Paris, Breveté 15649 driving the horizontal chapter ring with Roman numerals and gilt fleur-de-lis half hour marks across a fixed pointer fitted in a patinated sphere with foliate ormolu mounts and surmounted by cupid on clouds, held aloft by the well cast and chiseled patinated female nudes "Three graces" connected by trailing garlands, concave sided triangular marble base with finely cast pierced gilt mounts raised on tapered feet

chapter ring in good condition, movement recently cleaned and in good condition, in working order, case very good quality in very good condition, minor rubbing to the gilding of the pearl ring of the base, no accessories
