A rare French Louis Philippe polychrome musical automaton picture wall clock, Tharin circa 1840

countwheel gong striking anchor movement with silk suspended pendulum, 6-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Tharin Paris forming the dial of a polychrome painted church at a Mediterranian bay, a seperate mechanism operating the automatons of a spinning glass rod imitating a fountain, a nodding friar, a musician, a lady repairing a net, a waving flag, a rocking ship and ships passing by along the horizon, replaced musical mechanism with 17.5-cm cylinder, gilt stucco frame with foliate scrolls and glass panel 

dial with hairline cracks near V and IX, movement in working order but needs to be cleaned, automatons working but all needs to be adjusted, everything is moved by rotating wires/ropes which need to be tightened, musical mechanism in distressed condition and in need of a complete overhaul, a few teeth damaged, no connection to the mechanism or movement and therefore associated to this clock, painting a little dirty but in good condition, frame dirty but further in original good condition, together with a pendulum
