20-cm engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals signed L. Martens Hamburg, blued hands and subsidiary seconds, weight driven movement with tapered screwed down plates, deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, separately steel suspended pendulum with mercury bob and beat adjustment to the crutch, glazed case with moulded pediment and rounded corners, glazed front and sides, the interior with a beat plaque
Condition
dial in original condition, slightly tarnished should clean up nicely, quality hands in good condition, quality movement able to function, a little greasy but in good condition, quality pendulum, case in original and good condition, together with a doorkey, a weight, a pendulum and a winder
