  • 149cm. high incl. atlas.
28-cm polychrome painted dial with Roman numerals, brass hands and alarm disc, theatrical opening below revealing the balloon automaton with two engaging figures connected to the going train of the brass posted anchor movement with countwheel bell striking and alarm on a bell, stained oak case with break arch top surmounted by a giltwood atlas and two angels, glazed door with side columns, shaped tail with urn lenticle, restorations

Condition

dial a little tarnished, theatrical opening below with some retouches, movement in working order, traces in the clock indicate restoration to the automaton and possibly a little altered but balloon automaton basis seems to be original, case a little pale with cracks in the tail, lenticle with dents, damages to the statues, together with three statues, three weights and a pendulum
