22.5-cm painted dial with Roman numerals bearing the signature Hendrik Ruempol Laren 1767, pierced brass hands, substantial brass posted movement with anchor escapement, countwheel striking and alarm on a surmounted bell, pierced gilt lead front and side frets, painted wood bracket with shaped top and sides, restorations, pendulum lacking
Condition
dial tarnished and possibly repainted, minute hand repaired but both hands look original, movement in working order and able to function, return spring for the striking unlocking lever lacking, the wheels have the typical heavy build of the Ruempol's, seatboard old, feet for the seatboard replaced and bracket looks to be replacd but has the right shape and measurement, side doors lacking, weights?, pendulum lacking
