Description

  • dinnerplates 24.5cm. diameter.
polychrome painted and parcel-gilt with two coats-of-arms enclosed by an oval floral, trophy and ribbon decorated medallion, under a similar border and brown and gilt rim, comprising: nine dinner plates, three larger plates, three deep plates, three reticulated plates, and a reticulated basket and saucer

Condition

In overall good condition with some wear to the painting and rubbing to the gilding, some impurities to the glaze, one dinner plate with shallow rim chip (ca. 2cm. long), another with tiny rim chip and hairline crack running down from the rim (ca. 5cm. long) and related smaller hairline crack; one larger disjh with small rim chip, one deep plate with small rim chip and related small hairline crack, another with two hairline cracks running down from the rim (ca. 3 and 5cm. long), the reticulated basket with one handle re-stuck, one larger restored break to the rim (ca. 4cm. long), related small hairline cracks.
