  • 236.5cm. high.
replaced 26-cm engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals bearing the signature Arthur A Paris, gilt hands, equation hand and sweep seconds, endless rope weight driven movement with pinwheel escapement mounted on the backplate, countwheel striking on a bell, well engraved annular calendar and equation kidney mounted on the frontplate, heavy separate knife edge suspended gridiron pendulum with enamel temperature scale, mahogany case with concave cushion top, glazed doors, flanked by half pilasters, glazed trunk door with similar pillars, the sides with geometrical inlay, similar inlay to the base on a moulded plinth

dial and bezel a little dirty, made at a later date for this movement, movement made circa 1800, able to function but in need of a clean, pendulum of very good quality, in good condition, case made for this movement/dial/pendulum late 19th century, in original dirty condition with some scratches due to age and wear but nothing serious, together with two weights and a pendulum
