Description

  • 27cm. high.
8.5-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Trouvez A Paris, foliate pierced engraved hands, similarly signed numbered No.306 countwheel bell striking movement with tic-tac escapement and silk suspended pendulum, fluted ormolu case with break arch top and trellis panels surmounted by two doves and a flambeau on clouds, musical instruments and trophies to the sides, break arch plinth raised on engraved feet

Condition

dial a little dirty with small repair at left winding hole, quality hands, minute hand repaired, movement in working order and able to function, might benefit from a clean, case in original but very dirty condition, difficult to establish the quality of the gilding but seems to be alright except for some rubbing at the top and the front of the base, together with a pendulum, a winder and a regulation key
