Description
- 152cm. high, 109cm. wide, 55.5cm. deep.
the moulded cornice above an acanthus scolled frieze bearing a central coat-of-arms of the North-Holland Province, above two spindle doors and two panelled carved doors, depicting lapwings within scrolled cartouches, flanked and divided bij half columns, the sides conformingly carved, above a two drawers, on bell feet

Condition
The overall condition is good. Minor traces of old woodworm. With later laquered surface.

Catalogue Note
This type of cupboard is called 'Keeft', a Frisian term derives from the Dutch term Kieft, which means lapwing. This type of bird is depicted repeadetly on the panelled doors and sides of this cupboard.
A similar cupboard is with the collection of the Friesch Museum at Leeuwarden.
