Description

  • diameter shade 45cm, 60cm. overall high.
the copper shade with openworked ornaments concealing five lights, the shade upholstered with the original batiked silk in shades of red, brown and green on a cream ground, suspended from a circular ceiling rose with ropes with wooden knobs and silk tassels attached to hooks modelled as stylised seahorses

Condition

The patina of the metal a bit worn but original, the silk shade with several minor tears (longest 4 cm.) discoloured and stained with worn spots along the metal ribs but original, the ropes and tassels renewed, wiring renewed and in good condition
