An earthenware bamboo-form teapot and cover Qing dynasty, Yixing period

the unglazed yellow and brown spotted body of cylindrical form with lobed walls forming faux bamboo branches; the curving handle, spout and finial to the flat cover also shaped as bamboo branches

In overall good condition with some surface soiling, tiny chips to the finial, the spout and the upper rim, minor wear to the brown decoration at the prominent parts, very fine hairline crack to the bottom of the pot (ca. 5cm. long) and along the lower rim (ca. 5cm.)
