Woven with a seated three-quarter length figure of an unidentified young lady with a floral trail around her shoulders, a pearl encrusted hair ornament in her curled blonde hair tied back at her nape, with the folds of her cream coloured silk dress around her, with a large eagle in the foreground, with one arm gently holding the top of a bronze jug with mask decorated handle, the other hand, emerging from underneath a white shawl and holding a bronze cup, set against a dark brown background, mounted onto a wooden frame, with some metal-thread highlights

This tapestry panel has not been lined and the threads are visible from the back. There are some lengths of masking tape attached across the back, which can easily be removed without damaging the tapestry. There is considerable dirt to the back of the panel. Particularly to the back of the face. It would benefit from being lined in the future. It has been mounted on to a wooden frame visible from the back. There is some distress in areas on the front of the tapestry. Warp threads showing in areas of different colours. Good colour generally and charming detailing and colour to the face. Metal thread detailing in some areas, see for example the hair.
