the reeded circular base on square foot, rising to a large round bowl with stylized rectangular double handles, the upper part of the bowl with reeded rim, the front side of the bowl applied with the cypher FRIII below an Royal crown, fully marked below

It is very likely that the cypher FRIII, is that of Emperor Friedrich III of Germany, King of Prussia (1831-1888). He was the son of Wilhem I and father of the last German Emperor Wilhelm II.
