Description

  • 71cm. high.
each modelled as a winged female figure raised on orb, holding aloft a crescent-shaped ornament, each end topped by a circular drip-pan and urn-shaped nozzle, centred by lyre, on circular pedestal and square plinth, fitted for electricity

Condition

In overall good condition with some rubbing , scratches, marks and to the gilding, traces of glue from attachment of wires, one with wires still glued to the bronze. One crescent-shaped ornament re-attached, the surmounting lyre re-attached and with restoration, partly re-gilt. The other with restoration to upper part of the lyre, four strings missing. Wings of one figure re-attached
