Description

  • 40cm. high.
each with a square panel depicting elegant interior scene, the reverse gold-in-gold with figural Chinoiserie scenes within foliate and floral work, the handles applied with bearded masks, on high circular foot and square plinth

Condition

In overall good condition with some rubbing to the gilding, especially to the rims of the feet and square plinths, the upper rims and handles, some minor surface scratching, tiny losses to the raised enamels of the paintings, minor water damages due to use, small firing flaws to the handles, one vase with larger loss to the gilding (ca. 2.5 by 2.5cm.) close to upper rim, and another minor loss (ca. 0.5 by 0.2cm.), both vases slightly loose in their joints.
