Description

  • overall 289cm. high, 144.5cm. wide, 71cm. deep.
the rectangular mirror with a protruding stiff-leaf carved cornice above a panel carved with a flowering festoon and a rectangular mirror, flanked on each side by a column with Corinthian capital, the console with a rectangular pale grey veined and mottled grey marble top above a floral carved frieze and on columnar supports with Corinthian capitals, on an incurving plinth base

Condition

In overall reasonably good condition, overall slightly dirty. With the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. The gilding partly refreshed, some small losses, restorations and cracks to the gilt carvings, some smaller cracks and paint losses to the columns and plinth, the marble top with minor rim frittings and some surface scratching, one hairline crack to the lower left corner (circa 15cm.).
