woven with a seated female figure, with flowers at her side and in her hair, and a cushion at her feet, flanked by a marble plinth supporting a marble urn with flowering plant another growing at the base of the plinth, with unusual green foliage covered architectural garden porticos, and formally enclosed fountains and pond in the background, without a border, with a later narrow banded yellow and blue outer selvedge

This tapestry is lined. There are areas of later rewoven repair generally. The composition has been cut vertically to the right, omitting the side of the female sitter whose gaze looks out of the present panel. Repairs to sky as visible from the photograph. In stable restored condition.
