From the Story of Diana, depicting the death of Niobe's children (Met.6:204-312), a subject representative of pride humbled, woven with the youths in a landscape setting, trying to avoid the arrows that are being sent down upon them from the heavens, and Niobe approaches the collapsing figures with her arm outstretched; lacking a border

Condition
This tapestry is lacking a border. It has a later blue outer selvedge. It is in good restored condition. Balanced colour and composition. Of a versatile size.
