A rare cherrywood tripod tilt-top tea table, by Abraham Roentgen or Workshop, Neuwied Rococo, mid 18th century

In overall good condition with the inevitable dents, marks and scratches, some warping and (restored) dryness cracks to the top, four small restored holes due to old (removed) supporting splats to the underside to prevent warping, stand possibly associated, one foot restored.

This especially fine and rare table has possibly been manufactured around 1745, as German variant of an English tripod table. Two comparable tables are illustrated in H. Kreisel / G. Himmelheber, Die Kunst des deutschen Möbels, München 1970, vol. 2, ill. 978.
