A stone figure of a Guanyin

Seated on a lotus base with her right leg raised  and rising on a short column from a hexagonal lotus pedestal, dressed in a loose robe, the folds falling gently across the body, the right arm raised in in abhaya mudra, the face with a serene expression framed by carefully tied back hair beneath a bejeweled crown   

In overall good condition with the usual wear due to use and age, some surface soiling, some large chips to rims of the plinth.
