Description
- 260cm. high, 92cm. wide, 42cm. deep; 8ft.7in., 3ft., 1ft.4½in.
the upper part with a pair of doors between figural supports, the stand with scrolling inswept supports headed by grotesque masks and with paw feet on a plinth base
Condition
Very good overall condition. The pediment lacking a central mount and has a slight chip to the carving.There is small loss the moulding around the upper cornice and minor discolouration to the one of the marquetry panels on the door.Each side has a repaired crack, extending to the lower part. The surface is very slighlty uneven as is typical for this type of marquetry.The base is scuffed and marked as can be seen from the catalogue.
