A pair of George III mahogany commodes late 18th century

each tray top with pierced carrying handles above line inlaid cupboards, one pull out commode section adapted to a drawer the other with wooden cover and ceramic lidded liner

This pair of commodes are 'ready to go'. As an overview generally attractive colour although these pieces are differently figured. Some handles possibly later but look good. A very attractive lot. Commode 1. The top has old repairs and is slightly warped - there is a small separation at the back. The reverese has two small apertures. There are repaired splits to the sides. The cover and liner of the commode drawer are good but possibly later. Generally neat and tidy Commode 2. The top has some repairs. There are old repairs to the splits on the sides. Repair to the left door and patch to the right. These have been sympathetically done. The door handle has been moved at some stage. Generally neat and tidy. Both in good restored condition.
