Description

  • 241cm. high, 147cm. wide; 7ft. 11ins., 4ft. 10ins.
depicting the God of Longevity in a chariot amidst auspicious clouds,  paper laid down on canvas within a gilded and simulated bamboo frame

Condition

Of excellent appearance and generally in good restored condition. However it is paper laid down on canvas and there are some repaired tears, minor marks and surface wear. The gilt is lifting in places. There is a small section where the paper is lifting to lower left hand side and the gilt is lifting in places. The frame is chipped.
