Description
- 160cm. high, 122cm. wide, 48cm. deep; 5ft. 3in., 4ft., 1ft. 7in.
the cushion frieze with two drawers, the pair of doors with segmented and quartered veneers, the interior with eleven small drawers surrounding a central cupboard enclosing an architectural interior with parquetry and mirrors with concealed small drawers, below two short and two long drawers, on later shaped bracket feet
Condition
Fair. Some veneer and mouldings with repair and some partially lacking. Some typical partial splits and separations to veneer and mouldings. The cushion frieze side returns with partial lifting and bowing. The pair of doors with typical but pronounced vertical separations and some repair on these sites. Some repairs around hinge sites. Interior generally tidy but the lower right short drawer front is warped. The interior of the small cupboard section has an inlaid section lacking on the right side and another inlaid section is detached and warped. The sides of this lot with typical splits.
There are three miniature drawers concealed behind the central architectural mirror framed niche within the interior central cupboard. The three parquetry step sections at the front of this interior cupboard also form the front of further miniature drawers.
