sides reovercast, ends lined with herringbone tape, fringes trimmed and overlocked; overall in good condition; pile ranging from generally good in light colours varying from 4-5,mm to 2-3mm in field, some oxidisation of dark crimson with knotbars beginning to appear; cut and reduced in length, rewoven along join, lower half of field with irregular join through centre and multiple reweaves and restorations, very well executed, practically not visible from face of carpet, only discernable from reverse; restorations are reflected in estimates, very good value for size
