Description

  • 140cm. high, 100cm. wide, 56cm. deep; 4ft. 7in. 3ft. 3¼in., 1ft. 10in.
with featherbanding, the cavetto cornice above two short and three long graduated drawers, the stand with three drawers and an arcaded apron, now on bun feet and reduced in height

Condition

Closer inspection shows lack of patina to the veneers and this piece is partially reveneered and subject to re-construction. The old top has worm and some fragmented timber. There is a fresh loss of cornice moulding, about two inches in length on the front. The right side cornice return moulding is partially bowed towards the rear. A partial lack of cock beading on the apron moulding above the front right turned foot. The right side of this lot with typical split to the chest section and a partial loss of apron cock beading in the stand on the right side. Top and cornice with traces of worm and some old repairs.
