Description
- 67cm. high, 179cm. wide, 60cm. deep; 2ft. 2in., 5ft. 10½in., 1ft. 11½in.
with moulded cover, the front inlaid with poker work armorial between foliate motifs and grotesque beasts flanked by caryatids to each corner, the sides with iron carrying handles, on later carved feet
Condition
Attractive colour and patina. Some traces of worm throughout. Cover with some fragmenting, marks and a repaired moulding. One of the iron loop hinges is detached. The front with fragmenting round escutcheon. Scuffing to gadrooned base.
