Description
- 69.5cm. high, 113.5cm. wide, 56cm. deep; 2ft. 3½in., 3ft. 8¾in., 1ft. 10in.
the moulded, hinged and cleated top above a plain frieze applied with triglyphs, over a three panelled front divided by stiles applied with split balusters, the outer panels with applied arcades, the centre panel with an applied oval centred by an acorn-form motif, on a moulded plinth and stile feet
Condition
Good. An attractive and distinguished piece. Good colour and patina throughout. The top with typical wear, separations and partial splits. There are vertical splits in two front panels and old fragmenting on the left front corner apron moulding. The interior shows later batons to the reverse of the cover to secure the separations. Old hasp hinges possibly associated. A distinctive old rare piece with warm colour.
