A rare Charles II walnut chest of drawers late 17th century

in two parts, the three long drawers with mitred mouldings

Good with lovely colour and attractive patina. The top with typical separations and partial splits. The front with some fragmenting to moulding. The central drawer with filled key apertures and lock replaced by timber insert. Some old chips to veener on this drawer front. The lower drawer with some lifted moulding and partial splits. The sides with some typical splits and wear. Some traces of worm throughout. Front feet replaced. An unusual and rare example. Please note the illustration has been reversed for the catalogue.
