in the Baroque style, the various specimen marbles including lapis lazuli, with an arrangement of ten drawers and a central cupboard, the modern twentieth century stand with eight tapered square legs

Colours overall of the marble slightly darker and more attractive than in the catalogue illustration. There are some old restored breaks in the marble plaques and columns which have been very well executed and are hardly noticeable. There is some slight warping to the sides and hairline splits in the veneer but these are not too noticeable and do not detract from the piece. Old minor marks and chips and scratches as visible from the catalogue illustration. There is a minor section of moulding missing from the base of the right stile as visible from the catalogue illustration. Old minor restorations generally commensurate with age. An impressive piece in overall good restored condition.
