A George III primative ash and elm comb-back armchair late 18th/early 19th century

with traces of terracotta coloured paint, the arms with shaped profile front supports and the seat with serpentine front, restorations

Generally tidy though a lot of wear. The back probably formerly with a broader comb section. This section now with a replaced stick. The seat with traces of worm and partial splits. Old fragmenting on feet socket. Rear leg replaced. One leg replaced reduced in height. Stretchers with worm. Of firm stance. Some repainting.
