A George II oak dresser 2nd quarter 18th century

the raised shelf back with moulded cornice, the fielded base with an unusual long frieze drawer, below are three short drawers flanked by a pair of ogee arched panel doors, each side with twin plain panels

Generally good with superb colour and patina throughout. A lot of wear commensurate with age and use. The raised shelf back with typical separations and partial splits to the rear boards. The left front corner of the cornice has fragmented timber and the left side cornice return moulding is detached. The open shelves with typical partial splits and the right side shoe of this shelf section has an old partial split. The top of the base with usual separations and a lot of fragmenting and old filler on the rear rim. The top with old black marks and partial splits. The front of the base section with unusual distinctive long frieze drawers. There is a vertical split in the left door. Sides generally tidy and retaining an attractive colour. Fragmenting to feet.
