Description
- 310cm. high, 206cm. wide; 10ft.2in., 6ft.9in.
the rectangular plate surmounted by a moulded flowerhead and leaf decorated crest flanked by pierced C-scrolls, the marginal plates etched with putti and scrolling foliage
Condition
This is a very decorative lot but it has many of the types of wear and damage that one can expect to see on such a fragile piece. There are some losses to the moulded decoration and a few detached parts. Some parts have been re-attached with later screws or glue. A lot of the floral and foliate decoration is chipped. The main mirror plate has been replaced the original plates have varying degrees of wear to the silvering.
