Description
- Caddy 1:12cm. high, 14.5cm. wide, 8cm. deep; 5in., 5¾in., 3¼in. Caddy 2: 11.5cm. high, 15cm. wide, 9.5cm.deep; 4¾in., 6in., 3¾in.
with a tulipwood crossbanded top, inlaid to the top and front with trailing husks, the interior with a lid, together with another George III caddy, circa 1800, of similar form, inlaid with an oval panel of flowers to the top and front
Condition
Both caddies are in good general condition. Caddy 1:The lid is slightly warped and does not fit closely. In particular there is a slight gap along the front edge. There have been some repairs to the crossbanding particularly along the bottom edge. Caddy 2: The hinge is slightly loose. There is no lock.
Both have old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
