the standing figure with a serpent head-dress, holding a vessel on a square base, inscribed 'published as the act directs, by R Shout, Holborn, London, 13th March 1805' on a later simulated Siena marble plinth

Robert Shout is listed as having a studio and show rooms at 18 High Holborn.  He specialised in making bronze figures after the antique from plaster, but made to imitate bronze
