A set of four Italian carved walnut chairs, Veneto mid-18th century

each with an open splat back surmounted by a pierced rocaille cresting, above a padded seat, on cabriole legs, joined by an `H' form stretcher; together with two similar Italian chairs, en suite, mid 18th century; restorations

All the backs are unstable. Old marks, chips and scratches generally and evidence of old worm, which appears to be no longer active. Reblocked. There have been several replacements on several chairs especailly to the legs. In otherwise good restored condition.
