Description
- 72cm. high, 542cm. long, 159cm. long; 2ft 4¼in., 17ft. 9 ¾in., 5ft. 2¾in.
with a telescopic action and seven extra leaves, on stylised foliate carved legs and brass castors
Condition
Good general condition. It has been re-finished and all of the leaves are an even colour. There has been some characteristic warping to the leaves and the top is therefore rather uneven in places. There are some marks and wear with some ndents to the leaves. Some of the metal work is indiscinctly stamped. This is an impressive lot and of a very tidy appearance.

The firm of M., S. & Thomas Willson is listed as Upholsterers and Furniture dealers between 1900 and 1912. It is possible they were the descendants of Thomas Willson (1799-1854) who traded from Great Queen Street from 1821 and handed over the running of the business to his wife Mary in 1830.
