A French gilt-bronze-mounted fruitwood and ebony inlaid sycamore, mahogany and parquetry guéridon table 19th century

in Louis XVI style, the top inlaid with trelliswork above a frieze drawer mounted with a lyre, scrolling flowers and foliage, on female caryatid supports joined by pierced stretcher, the spirally fluted tapering legs terminating in toupie feet

The piece is slightly unstable but the joints can easily be tighened up. The stretcher is a little dry looking and wood benefit from a repolish. Some very minor tarnishing to gilt-bronze. Some very minor hairline splits to veneer. In otherwise good condition with minor wear to the gilt-bronze.
