Description

  • height with stand 54 1/2 in.; height of vargueño 25 1/2 in.; width 24 in.; depth 18 1/2 in.
  • 138.5 cm; 65 cm; 61 cm; 47 cm
with a fall front opening to reveal nineteen drawers and doors each decorated with architectural motifs. On a later stand.

Condition

With old minor marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use. General surface dirt tot he interior which would benefit from a light cleaning. Some of the elements of the interior are loose, with at least one missing scallop-shell handle missing. Some elements loose but present. With at least four ivory columns later replacements made of wood. The exterior with minor age and hairline cracks consistent with age and use. In overall sound and stable condition. the base with old minor marks, chips and scratches with minor age and hairline cracks consistent with age and use. In overall good condition.
