  • 3.42m; 3.29m
perhaps Anthony and Cleopatra, the general seated on a central dias with a doe by his side, flanked by soldiers and attendants, within sumptuous border of flowers, fruiting swags and vines, with town mark BB on lower left selvage and weaver's mark M . DE .VOS on lower right selvage.

Condition

Lined with loops. Good colors with some fading. Restoration throughout especially in light silk areas (such as the sky, the floral pattern on the throne and the outer edges of border). Piecing throughout. Some splits and open warps throughout. Some silks are dry.
